It doesn’t feel good to feel bad. But what if it was the access to being fully yourself?
Things are very intense right now on a global scale. We can feel upset, angry, scared, frozen, overwhelmed, all kinds of things.
And usually, we mostly don’t want to feel that way.
I frequently say, “Let’s regulate our nervous systems so we can handle things intentionally.”
But my somatic and movement coach friend Aspen Marino takes things a step further.
What if we allow ourselves the full expression of these emotions so they can get unstuck? Her answer: We could be our whole selves, free to take action in the world.
